Designed to capture tritiated water from the atmosphere, AMS Nuclear’s portable samplers offer a compact, lightweight solution for various environmental sampling needs.
AMS Nuclear’s portable samplers are self-contained sampling systems used for capturing tritiated water from the surrounding atmosphere or from HVAC ducts. They consist of a robust aluminium carry case that contains both the sampling equipment and the sample collection bottle and are designed for use in a semi-portable mode being powered via 110VAC removable flying cable.
The gas sample is drawn through an external filter by an internal pump, through a flow sensor, and then into the liquid (bubbler) sample bottle, before being exhausted to atmosphere via a sample outlet port.
The sample volumetric flow rate can be regulated and recorded on an integral datalogger along with all other operating parameters, such as the pressure, temperature and run time thus making them suitable for long term data collection in remote areas of the plant.
